Self portrait of Shane Phillips

A Self Portrait

It’s rare to catch a really good self portrait of myself. I’m cheating a little bit this week because I’m using Shane’s photograph. I’m completely drawn to this photo he took. I can relate because he looks frustrated and tired but soldiering on through his troubles anyway. That moment of wanting to just pull your hair out but taking it all in because that’s just not the answer. The black and white filter adds more emotion to this photo for me as well. There is a bit of my editing because I added a frame, a Brady film effect and watermarked it with his charity’s website url. Are you drawn in by this self portrait too?
