I did pull of the visit for Chris Donnelly for my first Crossfit competition! You can just call me Pamela “M(ake it happen) Kramer.” We had a great time getting to know the man behind the camera.
Holy smokes ladies! I made it through my first Crossfit competition. I hope you click over to read because I really want you to see what we did. I want you to see the spirit of Crossfit. It was scaled but it still made my fat cry! I can’t thank you enough for those of you who were supporting me and tweeting me! It was amazing. I was reading and it made me feel really good to know that you ladies had my back and were cheering me on. It also helped that the members of my gym were there counting reps, cheering me on and telling me I could do it. It was amazing! That ladies, is serious support. Crossfit is focus. You have to focus on your movements, proper form so you don’t get hurt. I wasn’t out there to get injured! We have 16 different class times and we may not always work out together but we see each others photos on Facebook. We all know the hard work that goes in and it makes it really easy to support each other.
I just wanted to go out and have fun. I would love to do it again. I would have liked to have trained more for it though. I need to get beyond the box jumps! I know I can I just need to work on it. I was there before and I know I can get back there again. My muscles were just too tight. I know better than to mess with tight muscles. If there is not flexibility you are doomed.
Yesterday I was 7 pounds down since beginning of the challenge but today I gained 2 back. Lame! It could have been that Butterfinger. My son was sitting next to me provoking me. I took it! I ate a bite and more. Paleo makes you crazy. I’m not going to lie. It’s so much harder this time because I don’t have everyone on board with me. I have strayed a couple times. Meanwhile my husband was sitting behind me with a milk carton size of Whoppers! Who does that?
Thursday – Crossfit
Another reason I was so tight! All work and no WOD make Pam a very unhappy athlete.
Saturday – 2 wods
Sunday – recover!
