What are my goals for 2013?
I’ve been hunting for a 2012 goals post but it turns out I didn’t write one. That’s very unusual for a blogger but I can tell you what happened. In January of 2012 I was preparing for my very first 30 Day Paleo Challenge! Apparently the goal was just to make it through that 30 Days because there really isn’t anything else. That challenge resulted in a 12 pound loss. Nice! I made it through a few other challenges.
– Juneathon.com challenge which is fitness for 30 days.
– And another round of the 30 Day Paleo challenge in September which resulted in a 6 pound loss but my lowest weight since trying to get fit three years ago.
– We’ve spent all year in Baby Step 6 in the Financial Peace University plan by Dave Ramsey.
In 2012 I worked on more projects than I could have dreamed of and filled up my LinkedIn profile with a flurry of projects.
This year I made the move from Blogger to WordPress. I’ve been cleaning ever since. Was it worth it? I’ve learned a lot but lost a lot of my audience.
Unexpected Happenings –
My Crossfit trainer of two years and the gym parted ways leaving many of us lost and unbalanced. He’s moved on to beachier pastures in Galveston with his own Crossfit Tidal Wave box. Congrats.
I back tracked in my rehab. My back took a turn for the worse.
I finished a book this year! AMAZING – Of course I had to lock myself in the bathroom to do it but I got it done.
I found it in my local library on 11/21 and it took me four days once I buckled down. I had to keep checking it out because I kept it so long, after Christmas. lol
I really do love Instagram.
I hit four conferences this year! Fitcation, Bloggy Bootcamp in Dallas, Entreleadership and Latism. I’m backed up on blog posts since the switch. It takes a LOT longer to blog now. There is a lot of coding in the background.
After hearing Jon Acuff speak during Entreleadership I became hooked on his blog! His posts keep me inspired.
