Falling off the wagon is something I have done so many times and that’s why Mamavation is so appealing. None of us are perfect and we do fall but the difference is that we get back up! We recognize it and we acknowledge it and forgive ourselves and move on! This is something that I have gotten really good at because I’m not perfect and I’m ok with that. Now you know why I always challenge myself.
On day 25 of my Paleo for Lent challenge I fell off the wagon again. We went out to eat at a German restaurant and since we had to wait we “bellied up to the bar.” When in Rome as they say…so it began with a beer. That one beer led to cheese, which lead to bread, which led to fries! Then I started over the next day. I had a choice. I could either give up completely and say, “I failed a meal so I might as well stop here” or “I had a bad meal, get back on track and finish what you started!” Guess which one I chose? That’s right, let’s finish this!
It’s Spring Break which means I have the kids all week and my gym time is limited! So I have been running! Not logging a lot of miles but slowly starting back up again. I’m also hitting at home wods too! Why? Because I can’t afford to sit out. I know this and next week I will pay for it when I can get back in the gym. The key is to just keep moving! Right?
Find me on Daily Mile – The kids are home so everything is delayed. I have to go back and add all my work outs!
