Creative Kids Live Here

These kids amaze me with their creativity. I’m becoming more and more in favor of throwing out the television. We do manage screen time here and when the screen goes off you would think the world is ending. When left to their own devices they will figure out ways to occupy themselves. Here is one of my favorites.

Creative Kids Live Here - Uses for Palmolive in our home by @pamelamkramer

The first time this happened I was upset for a split second. Now when they ask for a little soap I just hand it over. Then they call me out to the backyard to show me how they make shapes and create bodies of armor with bubbles.

But wait there’s more! Yesterday MommieDaze.com published my DIY Imagination Station article. You have to see what these kids can do with canned goods. You will be amazed.

It’s new!

Love letting my kids get creative like that. I’d hand over the soap without thinking about it too :)

I’ll take it! It beats fighting over what show they are going to watch, ugh!

Kids can come up with the best fun!

Right? Can’t wait to see what their kids come up with!

What a great idea. How fun!!

They’re pretty smart cookies! Wish I was small enough to join them.

This is a great idea for spending a summer afternoon, and basically, they stay clean, lol. Then you can just hose them off, right? ;)

They hose themselves off! They love it. lol – No arguments for cleaning up.

Wow, that looks like a blast! I wonder where all of that creativity goes as we get older. Kid me would have loved doing this, but adult me never would have thought about it.

    • http://pamelamkramer.com/ PamelaMKramer

I think our creativity gets bogged down with responsibility and schedules! lol

We are on the verge of tossing out the TV too. I am always amazed what my kids (ahem, and I) can accomplish with that extra hour in their day. Did you have any trouble with them getting too slippery and sliding between the springs?

    • http://pamelamkramer.com/ PamelaMKramer

No trouble with any slippery problems. They had a great time.

That looks like so much fun. Just yesterday my middle daughter mentioned how much she would love to have a trampoline in the backyard. I have always wanted one so maybe Santa will bring one this year!!!

      Oh it’s a fun investment.

Looks like they really had a good time. http://poshonabudget.com/2013/08/ww-momkarma.html

Indeed they did! Thank you for stopping by.

  • Greta

Ahhh! Isn’t it slippery? It looks like WAY too much fun!!

    • http://pamelamkramer.com/ PamelaMKramer

Yep! That’s the idea. They lay down and make “soap angels!”
